PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

SOME RESEARCH EXPERIENCES :

 

1- Developed a forth-order incompressible 3D finite volume code based on compact schemes for large eddy simulation of two-phase gas-solid turbulent channel flows.

 

2- Developed a high-order upwind finite volume, 3D compressible time-dependent Navier-Stokes Solver on unstructured tetrahedron elements

 

3- Developed a 3D incompressible, time-dependent Navier-Stokes Solver on unstructured cubic and triangular grids

 

4- Developed a 2D triangular grid generator based and Delanay triangulation

 

5- Developed a code to simulate effect of inlet air cooling on gas turbine

 

6- Work in a group to simulate flow field on internal combustion chamber

 

SOME WORK EXPERIENCES :

 

1-      1 year working in Tabriz Power Plant in the Office of Research and Planning, Tabriz, Iran. (1995-1996)

2-      8 months working in Razi research center as consultant engineer, Tehran, Iran as.(1997)

3-      1 year working in the Center for Energy Studies, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. (1998-1999)

4-      15 monthes working in Bandar Imam Petrochemical Co. as a leader of a research group, (work on energy auditing of plants), Tehran/Bandar Imam/Iran (1999-2001)

5-      2 years working in E-man Serve Company as a consultant engineer and the manager of R&D division. (2001-2003)

 

TEACHING EXPERIENCES:

 

1-      Instructed Under-Graduated Courses at University of Tabriz, Sharif University of Technology and its Golpaieghan Technical Branch: Thermodynamics I & II, Fluid Mechanics I & II, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Heat Transfer

2-      Conducted experimental labs in Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics.

3-      Research assistant in the department of mechanical engineering, working on 3d modeling of transient compressible flow problems
